“I had the blessing of having my in-laws to live with us for 24 years. Everything worked out for us until first my mother-in-law became ill and could not leave the house. My husband and I then took care of her for five years before she passed away. We provide meals and cared for her medical needs.
Then my father-in-law had a stroke and could not care for himself. My children were amazing and helped. They saw their grandfather in ways that children should not be exposed to but they rose to the occasion. My father-in-law recently passed, but he had a very fulfilling life”.
